Pinot Noir
Wendling Vineyard - Anderson Valley, California
The Wendling Vineyard is located in the “Deep End” of Anderson Valley. One of the very last vineyards in the valley nearest the town of Navarro. The 20 acre vineyard is owned and expertly farmed by Paul Ardzrooni and produces beautiful fruit clusters with very small berries and low yields. Planted in 2010 on Bearwallow-Wolfey complex soils.
Riddle Vineyard - Occidental, California
Jim Riddle owns and farms this vineyard just Northeast of Occidental on Stoetz Lane, just seven miles from the ocean. Overlooking Green Valley to the East, Riddle sits just at the morning fog line and sees the sun from late morning until coastal winds return the cool evening air. Planted in 2007, the vines are now fully mature and producing pristine fruit. We have two blocks at Riddle, clone 115 planted on the steepest portion of the vineyard, and the Pommard clone.
Morning Dew Ranch Vineyard, - Navarro, California
Planted in 1999 by Burt Williams after the sale of Williams Selyem, this vineyard consists of a variety of Dijon clones, Rochioli, and a DRC suitcase selection. The vine age, climate, and exposure are ideal for growing great Anderson Valley fruit. We are fortunate to work with two hillside blocks of Rochioli and DRC on Franciscan clay soils underlain with sandstone.
Chardonnay
Platt Vineyard - Freestone, California
A special site and planting five miles from the ocean overlooking the tiny village of Bodega, California. Platt's extreme exposure and cold climate produces wines of great intensity, salinity, tension and acidity. Yields are naturally moderated by the cold weather during fruit set, lending significant concentration to the fruit. Our block of Old Wente clone looks at the ocean and is a favorite place to take guests.
