Standing in this vineyard overlooking the Anderson Valley to the west, this is one of the most beautiful vineyard sites we've walked. Planted by Burt Williams post Williams-Selyem in the late 90s to a variety of clones and rootstocks all of it 100% Pinot Noir. We find ourselves lucky to get a ton each of Rochioli and DRC clones to ferment separately.
The resulting wine is the most elegant of our Pinot Noirs to date. The nose opens with wild strawberry and a hint of rhubarb. Rose petal, red fruits, and a touch of mushroom on the palate. 85 cases produced.
